Intro
In Anton’s design, practicality and aesthetics merge in a captivating harmony. Guided by a process-driven approach, his work moves fluidly between organic craftsmanship and precise machining, seeking a balance where form and function coexist seamlessly.
Each piece exists at the crossroads of contemporary design, functional art, and sculptural expression—united by an ongoing dialogue between material and form, and a deep respect for the inherent beauty of natural materials.
Anton is a designer devoted to exploring the potential of materials and their capacity to reimagine familiar forms of furniture design. His creations elegantly straddle the boundary between functionality and contemporary sculpture.
Process-led and deeply intuitive, his practice embraces the harmony found within unconventional materials. The resulting objects are understated and subtle yet distinguished by inventive design details and quiet sophistication.
In recognition of his vision, Anton was selected as one of four Habitare Talents exhibitors, a curated section of Helsinki Design Week in September. The body of work he presented received international attention, with features in publications such as Manera, Wallpaper, and Dezeen.
Anton currently works as part of Minestrone Collective, a contemporary wood workshop based in Helsinki’s Vallila district, where collaboration and material exploration continue to shape his evolving design language.
